hard to get

soooo im just now getting time to sit down and post about colorado and other such things that have happened in the past 2 or so weeks ...
colorado was awesome!
... highlights of the trip: not in any specific order!
1. New Belgium Brewing Co - tour of the brewery, beer tasting, mailing all my postcards (beer coasters) in one stop, for free!
2. off roading on the 4x4 trails - in a durango -the scenery was beautiful
3. the "drunken monkey" bar... "no swinging after 3 drinks" :-)
4. going horseback up the mountain trails in estes park - amazing!
5. rocky mountain national park- climbing giant rocks, bear lake, trail ridge road/store etc...
6. getting to see LINZE! and have a sleep over in her room every night we were there! ps linze and i decided that if no men come along for us that we can 'put up' with, we are building a house together, we're both gonna be the architects & i'm gonna be the interior designer & landscaper.. we will each have our own levels therefore we can "entertain guests" without interrupting the other... ;-)
7. beautiful mountain scenery - waterfalls, pink snow, lakes, etc... (dont touch pink snow! pink means its infested with bacteria- thanks for the lesson Linze!)
8. seeing the Stanley Hotel (the one from steven kings "the shining") and then watching the shining for the 1st time!
9. Kaci & Scott's wedding at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch
10. potty breaks in rocky mountain national park/arapaho national forest
11. buying an mp3 player for the ride home!
least favorite things:
1. the bitchy boys
2. the 12.5 hour drive there --- and the subsequant 12.5 hour drive back
3. moving linze & her roomate jenny from their 3rd floor condo to a house 4 blocks away
4. thinking we were going to die when we were going on an off roading trail/pass through the mountains that was made for ATV's and we were in a Durango! ....
5. paint your wagon soundtrack (enuf said about that!)

-- ok since colorado i have worked 3 days @ CFTC and 2 at the bar. had a family get together last saturday which was actually quite entertaining- i like family things when everyone comes here and i dont have to travel all across iowa to see ppl! brooke was back in town so the old crew from HS went to each lunch together sunday @ gators, it was nice to catch up with everyone...went with jeremy to get his tatoo... maybe one of these days i'll decide to get mine - i've only been planning it since i was 16! had the day off tuesday & went to eat lunch with my cousin.... her bf of 6 years just broke up with her... therefore we have had quite a few drunk nights this week... :-) i didnt mind, it'd been a long time since ive gone out to get drunk.... wednesday i convinced liz that she needed to meet ppl from my work - ie she needed to drive me to ft madison to jeremy & coach's ... long story short it was a grand time, i experienced sidelines for the 1st time ever, learned that you in fact can not walk thru hardees drive thru at 5am... and i learned that catfishbend riverboat is open all night long! thursday night was spent at work at the bar on less than 2 hours sleep, i struggled greatly to remain awake and on task at work... the drive home was almost disasterous!last night was spent working and then up at bobs for some cocktails with springer, alisha, caleb and some random guys from chicago that had come into the cafe while i was getting ready to close! :-) i again remember why i like ppl from chicago so much... they are friendly, they have cute accents, and they are used to $4.50 beers therefore when they only have to pay $2 a beer they leave EXCELLENT tips! :-D

ok my last post mentioned my date with justin, i made it a point to call him the day after i returned from colorado to tell him i was back - and i have NOT heard from him since! ps we got back the 3rd! yeah ... so i imagine i dont even have to consider him in the picture...

and things with jeremy are not dying down.... in fact they seem to be heading the other direction we flirted via text like mad when i was in colorado... and you can tell by the fact that i went to get with him to get his tatoo, and i spent the night with him wednesday night .... (linze i should call you with more details!) although i am going to try my hardest not to ask questions about where things are headed because everytime i ask he tells me to be patient and then doesnt talk to me for a while... hmm... i tell you what, i dont like this hard to get thing, i get bored to easily!

well thats about it - tonite & tomorrow nite will be spent @ CFTC -- hope the children are very well behaved, i dont think i have gotten caught up on my sleep from wednesday and dont have patience for their misbehaving...:-*
